Electra Skin Diver circa 1960
The Electra house was born in March 1966 when Fred Lip brought together several watch manufacturers, Bisontine and Parisian companies. Thus, it brings together under the name Electra, the brands Lacorda, Friez-Prudhon, Pilote SA, Quartier Frères. In 1969, the two Swiss companies Vulcain and Sarcar joined them. That same year, Electra produced some 300,000 watches . Unfortunately this success did not last. In 1971, the company went into liquidation.
