Juvenia Slim “Grey Waves” circa 1960
Jacques Didisheim is a watchmaker born in 1834 in Hégenheim in Alsace. In 1850, he first established himself in Geneva, then in 1860 he created a watch manufacturing workshop in the town of Saint Imier.
Workshop he called "Juvenia" after his wife's maiden name Juvenia Goldschmidt.
Being a pioneer with the imagination of a visionary and a passion for success,
from 1882 Jacques Didisheim settled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, an ideal environment for his creative ideas to flourish. Just one thing to add, this dial is pure madness!
Switzerland, around 1960
Dial : Wave effect dial and stick hands
Diameter : 33mm
Movement : Mechanical hand-wound MFG 1105 or Peseux 7001 - 17 jewels
Bracelet : Juvenia integrated in Milanese mesh
Condition : Superb, the watch is in good general condition. The dial is very difficult to photograph, the images do not fully pay tribute to it. The dial is slightly altered on its edge as shown in the penultimate image. These alterations are only visible during certain light conditions, they are absolutely not disturbing when the watch is worn.
The movement has been completely revised, this Juvenia works perfectly.
Watch warranty : 12 months
