About

I've been obsessed with watches for over a decade. It started with hunting for affordable vintage pieces, taking them apart on the kitchen table, and learning the hard way what not to touch. But I couldn't stop there.

In 2017, I earned my watchmaking diploma in Besancon, the historical capital of French watchmaking. I went on to work at Jaeger-LeCoultre, learned from fellow watchmakers across France, and spent more late nights than I can count on vintage watch forums, studying movements, dial variations, and the small details that separate an honest watch from a bad deal.

What drew me in, and what still drives LumeVille, is the era when watches were tools, not status symbols. Dive watches that actually went underwater. Field watches that survived real campaigns. Chronographs built for timing, not for showing off. That history is endlessly fascinating, and every watch that passes through my hands carries a piece of it.

At LumeVille, every watch is personally selected and inspected. I only sell pieces I can stand behind: authentic, original condition, with honest descriptions and real photos. No redialed faces, no undisclosed repairs, no "Franken" builds. I also offer a pre-purchase verification service for collectors looking to buy vintage watches elsewhere and wanting an independent expert eye before committing.

Based around Besancon, France. Shipping worldwide. If you want to dig deeper into the world of vintage watches, start with the Watch Journal.

If the history of watches fascinates you as much as it does me, welcome.
