Citizen Homer Date Jumbo from 1967
Citizen Homer Date Jumbo from 1967
Citizen is a real opportunity for collectors! This manufacturer, born in 1930, offers its own unique universe and there is still much to learn, as information is hard to find if you don't master the Japanese language. You can find a good number of vintage gems flying completely under the radar, which I will do my best to help you discover.
Japan, 1967
Dial: Sunburst silver "Parawater" dial
Diameter: 38 mm
Movement: Citizen 1801 manual wind mechanical - 17 jewels
Bracelet: Citizen jubilee steel 18 mm. For a wrist with a maximum circumference of 17.5 cm without the extension and 18.5 cm with the extension
Condition: Superb, the watch is in good overall condition. The original acrylic crystal has 4 microscopic hairline cracks of only a few millimetres due to its age, which I am unable to photograph. The bracelet is likely engraved with the logo of a Japanese company. Beautiful presence on the wrist and what a style! The fluted bezel is stunning. The movement has been fully serviced, this Citizen runs perfectly.
