Founded in 1737 by Abraham Favre, Favre-Leuba is the second oldest Swiss watch brand after Blancpain. The brand is therefore not young at all and is very much part of those great historic houses that have contributed to the rise of Swiss watchmaking.
The example presented is a superb dress watch equipped with the famous Peseux 7001 and a deep black lacquered dial. This piece in fine condition is not without evoking certain models from Patek Philippe of the same era.
