Jacques Didisheim was a watchmaker born in 1834 in Hégenheim in Alsace. In 1850, he first settled in Geneva, then in 1860 he established a watch manufacturing workshop in the town of Saint Imier.
A workshop he named "Juvenia" after his wife Juvenia Goldschmidt's maiden name.
Being a pioneer with the imagination of a visionary and a passion for success,
from 1882 Jacques Didisheim settled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, an ideal environment to nurture his creative ideas. Just one thing to add: this dial is absolutely stunning!
Switzerland, circa 1960
Dial : Wave-effect dial with baton hands
Diameter : 33 mm
Movement : Manual winding mechanical MFG 1105 aka Peseux 7001 - 17 jewels

Condition : Superb, the watch is in good overall condition. The dial is very difficult to photograph and the images do not fully do it justice. These alterations are only visible under certain lighting conditions and are not at all noticeable when the watch is worn.
The movement has been completely serviced, this Juvenia runs perfectly.
