Jacques Didisheim was a watchmaker born in 1834 in Hégenheim in Alsace. In 1850, he first settled in Geneva, then in 1860 he established a watch manufacturing workshop in the town of Saint Imier.
A workshop he named "Juvenia" after his wife Juvenia Goldschmidt's maiden name.
Being a pioneer with the imagination of a visionary and a passion for success,
from 1882 Jacques Didisheim settled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, an ideal environment to nurture his creative ideas. Just one thing to add — this dial is absolutely stunning!
Switzerland, circa 1960
