Longines is the oldest brand still in activity, without modification, in the records of the World Intellectual Property Organization. It was founded in Saint-Imier at a place called "les Longines" in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz. It has a dual activity of watch manufacturing and sports timekeeping. A true piece of watchmaking history!
