Mido SA is a Swiss watchmaking company founded in 1918 in Solothurn by Georges Schaeren. Known for being a pioneer in precision watchmaking, it is part of the Swatch Group and is currently based in Le Locle. Its notable products include the automatic winding Multifort (1935), the central chronograph (1943), and the Mini Mido (1967), the smallest automatic watch ever produced on an assembly line. Another fine house flying under the radar!
