Milus Obsidian Dial circa 1970
Milus Obsidian Dial circa 1970
The story of Milus, a brand of refined Swiss watches, begins with the dream of a pioneer: Paul William Junod (1896–1951) wanted to create a watch that was solid yet elegant, a precious accessory that everyone would love to own.
This goal gave birth to the company founded in 1919 in Biel/Bienne, located at Route de Reuchenette 21, which remained in the Junod family until 2002.
Obsidian is a glassy volcanic rock formed by the rapid cooling of silica-rich lava. This process prevents crystallisation, giving obsidian its smooth and glossy appearance.
