The Oysterdate Precision ref. 6694 is Rolex's manual-winding tool watch, and the 1967 examples are among the most desirable. This one wearing a black gilt dial with what collectors call a "stardust" patina: the lacquer has aged to reveal a constellation of fine gold flecks across the surface, entirely original and impossible to fake. It's the kind of dial that stops you. Powered by the caliber 1225, a robust manual-winding movement known for its reliability, the watch has been fully serviced with all new gaskets. The acrylic crystal is new. Case and bracelet show honest wear, micro-scratches consistent with daily use over decades, two light scratches on the bezel between the cyclops and the crown. The folded Oyster 7835 bracelet has some stretch and will fit a wrist up to 18cm comfortably. Not a showroom piece, a real watch with real history, and one of the finest dials you'll find on this reference.
