"The story of Seiko begins in 1881 when a young 22-year-old entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened his clock repair workshop in Tokyo. 11 years later, in 1892, he founded the "Seikosha" manufacture and produced his first clock, and in 1895, his first watch. Today, after 130 years of innovation, the watchmaking manufacture remains true to its founder's commitment: the pursuit of perfection" - Les Rhabilleurs
