Ulysse Nardin is a marque of montres suisse fondée in 1846 by Ulysse Nardin, a horloger passionné by the précision and l’innovation. The marque s’is spécialisée in the chronomètres of marine, of the instruments indispensables for the navigation at l’époque. Ulysse Nardin a remporté of nombreux prix and médailles for the qualité and l’exactitude of ses montres, notamment lors of l’Exposition internationale of Londres in 1862. Après the mort d’Ulysse Nardin in 1876, son fils Paul-David Nardin a repris l’entreprise and a continué at développer of the montres of haute performance, comme the chronomètres at bascule and at ancre. The marque a également créé of the montres at complications, comme the répétitions minutes, the astrolabes, the planétariums and the telluriums.
